So it has been a pretty eventful week. I woke up at 4 am on sunday morning in tremendous pain on both sides of my back. It hurt to move, breathe, or even just lay there. so i called my parents and they came and picked me up and took me to the hospital. Stephen came with us. The doctors ran some tests and they determined that i had a kidney infection. They gave me a shot (stephen held my hand :) and sent me home with painkillers and antibiotics. I stayed with my parents from sunday morning til monday night. stephen came over on monday nigt and took me home from my parents house. He told me that he had been thinking about it and realized that he loves me. :):)
so then this morning i went downstairs and realized that my car had been broken into and they stole my old deck and old ipod. (stephen got me a new ipod for christmas) and my parents got me a new car. so i called the cops and they came out and dusted for fingerprints. i dont know if it was from being sick or being upset about my car but i had to excuse myself from the officer to go throw up.
but the rest of the day has been good.

i got the new joshua radin cd last night. its a really good cd. i like pretty much every song on it which i am impressed with. His previous cd had some songs that really stood out to me but then the others were ones that i absolutely would not listen to.
im ready for christmas break. haha. although next week i have thursday off meaning i have an ACTUAL day off. i'll probably spend it cleaning the apartment which is how i spend most of my free time.
i read the geek squad forums a lot in my spare time and it makes me sad to see other agents so disheartened by the cowboying of management within best buy. as much as i dislike some of the decisions made by my higher ups, i still am proud to put on my uniform and go repair computers. i love being an agent and am proud everytime someone asks me where i work or what i do. i like when my friends and family tell me im a genius for fixing their stuff in a few minutes or less. i like that my parents tell me they are proud of me for adapting so quickly to fixing computers. i love when customers tell me that they love me because i saved their important family pictures. so even days like yesterday where it seemed like all people wanted to do was ruin my day, i still "bleed black and orange". i love geek squad. i look forward to the day where i am in a position to receive a badge or can drive the beetle.
but i still will never ever play WOW. :)

so its been 25 weeks since my last post. I figured I will update.
hours have been cut at best buy. im only working the minimum 32 hours a week. makes me sad. richard is still a horrible horrible supervisor and chinh still isn't a good senior. so i am just biding my time til the JOS opens for the new store. I really really hope i get it. It would be really awesome if Willy J was the CEM, gigglepants was the SSM and I was DCI. :)
brit has decided that i hate him and don't want to even be friends anymore because i didnt ditch ariel to come to his show. *sigh* i wanted to stay friends but he seems to pick fights with me about everything.
i went bowling and shot pool with tony last night. i thought i was really good at both until i played him. he beat me at every single game. haha. but he bought me socks so it was okay.
i think i have gotten over my aversion to scary movies. stephen made me watch the strangers which even the trailer terrified me to my very soul. yet it wasnt that bad. and the hitcher didnt really freak me out either.
i have 2 tests tomorrow. lame

so heres an update about whats been going on with my life:
1. saw a girl get hit by a car while walking down guadalupe street. she's okay though.
2. my parents cat mango has cancer and their cat scully was hit by a car
3. im friends with daniel again
4. still working towards being geek squad supervisor in june when alex leaves
5. ready for school to be over
6. still looking for a roommate maybe
7. starbucks sent me a free big bag or coffee beans because they froze my card for a few days for no reason. i didnt even know about it til i got an email saying it was ok. haha

so work has been going well. a lady told me this morning on the phone that someone was using infrared to hack her computer. it was awkward. they would have to actually be in close proximity and sight line to be able to do something like that. im glad she didnt come actually in while i was there.
i saw a play called big love at ut with my friend john. it was so funny.
i saw step up 2 with brit and bina. :) i really liked it even though it was really cheesy. there was this really nerdy goofy guy who danced really well in it. haha.
last night i had a dream that alex store-used a bunch of can's of compressed air and hid them around the precinct. like 50 cans of them. haha. i was like are you sure we need this many? and he was like OF COURSE WE DO!! and then store-used some more and hid them.

so life is going really well. still waiting to find out who the new geek squad supervisor is. If alex becomes sup im applying for the senior position. will wants me to be senior, apparently chris crow wants me to be senior and today our district services manager scott told me how good a ob im doing and that he wants to see me in a leadership position soon and that he wants me to be supervisor eventually. that makes me feel really good to know that the gm and the district manager think so highly of me. :):):)
i got 3 A's and 2 B's in school. yay!
i cant wait to get my wii! :)

so today i went on an in-home networking ride along with stolle. We secured a wireless network, configured his laptop and location free base station to it (it lets you watch your home tv over the intarwebz) and then we configured his two playstation portables to it. well we had to download something to his psp's memory card and well.....it got stuck in the computer. haha we spent like 45 minutes trying to get it out and finally just told the guy we needed to take it back to the store because we didnt have all our tools with us. the guy was amazingly nice about it. so we left and stolle bought me lunch and then dropped me back off at the store. i left an hour and a half after i was supposed to have gotten off but hey.....i learned alot. :)

So not much to really report going on in my life. Brit and I are doing well. He makes me so wonderfully happy. Ben and I are still loving being roommates. :) yesterday i felt awful at work so Andrew let me go home. i think i pretty much have the best boss ever. hes always so understanding. im really into the cold war kids cd right now. i've had it for a long time but i never really listened to it too much. after acl fest though im definitely loving them.
my computer was broken for like 2 weeks. it had a terrible virus. haha. i worked on it for about a week and a half before i finally called it quits and asked andrew for help. he told me to bring it to work and that he would fix it for me but instead i just stayed after work and fixed it there on my own. dont know quite sure how i fixed it but i got it done and thats all that matters.
i bought a new printer. i bought a canon photo printer. my other printer was so old that i cant find the ink for it anymore. i think they stopped making it. haha. now i can print photos. im excited. i love scrapbooking. :)
i cant wait for winter. and cold weather. and sleeping with three blankets on. and drinking cocoa and tea almost constantly. and my one year review at work. andrew says hes going to give me a great review. :) christmas must be getting close. the seasonal hires are already starting at best buy. haha.
i cant wait for christmas. brit keeps telling me things he wants to get me for christmas. :):):) hes a cutie. what should i get him???? i dont know!! im gonna freak out. hehe
brit and i bought candy necklaces last night and he looked positively adorable in one. :)

Last day at ACL fest went pretty good. Except when brit and i lost each other. that was no bueno. We saw Ben Kweller (luckily his nose didnt start gushing blood this year), Regina Spektor, Bob Dylan (of course!), The Decemberists (i would have liked to hear the mariner's revenge song but i wasnt expecting them to play it). I think that's all. Brit and I wanted to see Rodriego Y Gabriela however they canceled. :( So instead we sat in the shade and ate snow cones. haha. yum. I had a small line of sunburn on my neck and was tired from the first two days so i was a little worn out for the last day. But overall it was good. Then afterwards brit and i went to eat at pluckers because he had a 50 dollar gift card from doing well at work. Well after we eat and brit gives the waiter the giftcard to pay, we are informed that their giftcard machine is down adn they cant accept it. Our waiter felt bad and gave us cards to get free chicken wings (4 cards total for 5 wings each so a total of 20 free wings.) I thought that was nice of him but it still was bad that we had to pay. :/ oh well.

ACL has been going really really well. First day wasnt as good because i was nervous about not really having a steady concert buddy because alex erwin and i were apparently going to different shows. but the second day went really well.
First day:
Ben had a friday pass so he and i drove down together. We split up once we got there and i met alex and brian and alex's cousin joseph for LCD soundsystem. I really really liked them. Halfway through the show they left and brian went to see M.I.A. and alex and his cousin went to see queens of the stone age. I left to go see spoon. I went over to spoon and watched about half of it but got really hot and decided to go sit down and eat something. so i ate chips and queso and then went to meet alex at to wait for the killers. well he was way up at the front and there was no possible way i could make it up there so i stayed in the back by myself. my friend steve and i kept texting each other so that i could try and find him but by the time i found the spot where he was he had left to go pick up a friend at the airport. Lousy texts not going through. haha. oh well. I thought the killers put on an amazing show. They were really energetic and i got to hear all the songs i wanted to. it was wonderful.
Second day:
I drove down alone and got there in time for Cold War Kids. I watched it alone and it was really good. I ran into Stephanie Jeanette and said hi to her. She was coming out from the front because she was really really hot and wasnt feeling too good. So i fanned her and gave her some water. Then she left to go find nathaniel. After their show i left to go push my way up for damien rice. luckily they had stephen marley play before damien rice so i didnt have a hard time making my way up close. the people at the damien rice show were really really nice. one lady next to me left to go get some water. she said "hey i'll buy you some water just in case i ever make it back up here" sadly she didnt. but i was ok. then there was this one guy was fanning his girlfriend because she was from new york and wasnt used to the heat. so then he started fanning everyone around him. then when one girl was falling over because she was so hot, he picked her up and carried her to the fence so that the security guards could take her to some shade and get water. so that made me feel good that if i got too hot and could stand....i would have someone to help me. so after that show i was kinda iffy on whether i wanted to stay for the arcade fire if i was gonna be alone again. but earlier i had texted andrew (my boss) asking what shows he was going to and so he texted me and told me to join his group for the arcade fire. haha it was so hard to meet up with him but he eventually found me. so i watched it with him and his girlfriend and it was fun. he got all worried about me because i had come to acl alone. he was like "why didnt you call me earlier!?!" Brit is going today for the sunday shows so i'll have him to watch shows with all day long.
yay so that has been acl for me so far.
now its time for the last day.

i shouldn't leave the house. or get out of bed. today i tripped over my hair straightener cord and hit my elbow and forehead when getting out of my car. i have a bruise on my leg from walking into a shelf at work. haha i really need to work on my depth perception or something.

so i havent updated in a while. all i do is work. and sleep. we have two new people at work. sherofi is cool but he's a low talker. we have to keep asking him to talk louder. but he's nice about it. Then we have a girl named shannon. she frustrates me. but its ok.
im pretty excited about school starting. im taking aroebics. haha. i needed a kinesiology credit.
right now im watching billy madison. haha i havent watched this movie in so long.
